Attorney Sean Y. Palmer has over 13 years of legal experience as a Texas Attorney and over 19 years as a Certified Mediator. Palmer handles Divorce, Child Support Enforcement, Paternity, Estate Planning, other civil matters in Harris, Galveston, Brazoria and Chambers counties. He also mediates divorce and other civil matters.
Mr. Palmer is a 2001 graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston where he was an Assistant Editor on the Corporate Council Review law journal and an editor for the international law journal, Currents. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper, Annotations. Mr. Palmer also interned with the Texas First Court of Appeals.

As a mediator for over 19 years, Sean Palmer knows that in many legal disputes, the best solutions are the ones that the parties agree to without resorting to a court ruling. Mr. Palmer has a wealth of education and experience in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution. In 1995, prior to moving to Texas, he was certified as a County Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and worked as a community mediator. Upon moving to Texas, he continued to mediate community disputes through the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County. In law school, he earned highest grades in all the ADR related courses offered. He spent the Summer of 2001 traveling throughout India to study the Lok Adalat system of community dispute resolution. He was even granted a rare audience with the Dalai Lama where he interviewed the Tibetan monk and got his views on the topic of peaceful resolution of conflict.
In addition to his general civil mediation training and experience, Sean Palmer is a trained Texas Qualified Family Law Mediator and a Child Protective Service Mediator. He has mediated hundreds of community, divorce and family law cases including high conflict meditations, and he has a 98% resolution success rate. He has also trained new generations of mediators by coordinating sessions and being an instructor in dozens of sessions to teach others the basic skills to become a Texas Mediator.
Mr. Palmer is the author of the legal article "ADR in the 21st Century" which he wrote and presented at the annual Institute for Responsible Dispute Resolution. He also co-authored the article" Children inside wedlock/outside wedlock parent issues " for the 2005 South Texas College of Law General Practice training.
Sean Palmer is a single day who lives in the Clearlake area with his 9 year old daughter. He has been through his own divorce and child custody battle and understands on a personal level what divorce clients and others facing legal conflict are going through.
